REACHING OUT
My hand goes reaching out for others
Sometimes to help or for one
The problems can be heard
But how can another know what had been gone through?
Forgiveness is a blessing
But the mind cannot stop recalling
Can the situation be wearier than this?
We hope not to encounter it
But will be forced to face
Why do I wake up late? Or fail to realize
It should had been easy to rise up and pull up the fallen folk
Will it suffice if only my job is done?
Solving the own issues consumes a lot of me
From where do I muster for remaining?
But then the need is felt calling aloud
SUM UP:
We give a helping hand to others; we need one at some point or another; if we don’t get one which declares, ‘hold it’/’grab it’ then we have to do it for ourselves. Although we say our mind to “shut up” we cannot totally stop recollecting the bitter incidences. We sometimes think, there cannot be a situation difficult than the one in particular but other moment, life poses a bigger challenge before us. Thus proving us wrong. Proving, fulfilling, shouldering, gathering, compromising, settling, accepting, battling, convincing, consoling, clarifying… are the common things we all do. Some do less of these but for others day goes this way. It is not easy to do these. Then how can you be there for anyone else? Is it that we cannot help others unless we help our own self? Or is it like, side lining our own issues (unanswered questions and hollowness) we must stand up for others; thus finding us and being satisfied that we were of some use to others.?
